On Wednesday, the 17th, the Pokémon Company announced some exciting things for the future. This 10-minute presentation packed a punch, starting with Pokémon smile. This camera-based app is made to encourage kids to create good brushing habits by using the face camera along with Pokémon on the screen, helping them fight off the bad guys, all while brushing their teeth. There is even a diagram of teeth to show which teeth were cleaned and which have not.
The next new thing announced was the Pokémon Cafe Mix, a challenging new puzzle game played with your favorite Pokémon. New Pokémon visit your café and can help better your cafe by becoming staff members. Each Pokémon offers a unique ability when helping to solve the puzzles. Over time you can expand your café providing new decorations and recipes. Open your café on switch or smartphone June 23rd.
The Pokémon company was very excited to announce the comeback of the beloved New Pokémon Snap. The original title was released back in 1999 on the Nintendo 64 and was a fan favorite. In New Pokémon Snap, the graphics look great, each terrain looks crystal clear as the waves roll up the beach and Pikachu munches on an apple. New Pokémon Snap looks the best any Pokémon game has ever looked. As there is no release date, we are excited to see what this one has to offer.
Pokémon Go is getting new updates that include raiding remotely, carrying more gifts, and getting bonus research daily. Also, this year’s Pokémon fest will be online compared to previous years due to COVID-19.Pokémon Sword and Shield has new DLC “The Last Armor” that is available now, the DLC “The Crown Tundra” will be available fall 2020. You can challenge Zeraora now in game, through the 28th for a chance to get a shiny Zeraora.
