25-year-old Houston rapper Don Toliver’s debut album is finally here. The twelve-track compilation Heaven or Hell is Don’s first official studio album. From the early days of his original mixtape Playa Familia to his signing with Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack label and becoming a member of the Jack Boys collaboration, Don is making a name for himself.

The vibe from the whole album is a somewhat trippy and transcended sounding one. You can hear the roots of the Houston rap sound and the influence of the Cactus Jack label throughout the track list. The track “Company” is one of the best examples of this.

The album features beat production from the likes of Sonny Digital (@SonnyDigital) and Wonda Gurl Beats (@WondaGurlBeats) as well as artist appearances like Travis Scott and Kassh Paige on “Euphoria” and Quavo and Offset on “Had Enough”. You can even find fellow Jack Boys member Sheck Wes on the track ”Spaceship”.
