Christmas is coming to the Pridelands on ‘The Lion Guard’

The Lion King was a big hit for Disney when it came out. It spawned a sequel, a prequel, a Broadway musical and a live action version coming out next year. The Lion Guard takes place in the same universe, after the first film but before the second movie. It tells a new story about the son of Simba fans never knew existed. Now it looks like fans are finally getting a Christmas episode. Here is what we know about this episode so far.

The Lion Guard enlist the help of animals throughout the Pride Lands to surprise Timon and Pumbaa with a Christmas celebration.

‘Timon and Pumbaa’s Christmas’ sounds like a great holiday episode. It is different from the normal specials that come out each year.
