There are no better signs of fall than breathtaking leaves, cooler days, and a plaid flannel. The classic tartan look is easily a symbol of the favorite season, and is often times accompanied by a warm feeling and plenty of bonfire memories. “It’s such a versatile fabric; it truly is everybody’s best friend,” expressed Marie Claire senior fashion editor, Zanna Roberts Rassi, in reference to Target’s newest collaboration. Target is bringing that feeling back to their store, with a fall 2015 plaid collection, including over 200 products that are sure to cater to your cozy craving.
The collection features a collaboration with designer Adam Lippes, highlighting more than 50 limited-edition Buffalo plaid pieces. While still maintaining traditional design, Lippes adds a modern twist on the classic, incorporating muted colors and a simple pattern. Clothing pieces cater to all lifestyles, ranging from business blazers to evening wear. Prices have yet to be released, as the collection will launch September 27th, but Target affordability is expected, similar to previous collections.
Past Target designer collaborations have stirred commotion, with Lily Pulitzer for Target selling out almost instantly, and crashing the site back in March. This season’s collaboration comes with high hopes of less stressful shopping, and more plaid products. The collection does not stop at clothing, as it includes items such as home decor and even pet accessories, sure to appeal to all customers and have everyone going mad for plaid.
